Red Green is the title character of the Canadian television show The Red Green Show, a hybrid of a sitcom and sketch comedy series. Created and played by comedian Steve Smith, Green is a DIY home improvement enthusiast and outdoors-man who demonstrates how to do relatively common tasks in humorous, often nonsensical ways, usually employing what he calls "the handyman's secret weapon," Duct tape. Smith has taken his signature character from television to the stage in touring shows like Red Green's How to do Everything Tour.
