About
Sydney Kings is a professional Australian basketball team that competes in the National Basketball League (NBL). Established in 1987, the team came into existence as a result of the unification of the Sydney Supersonics and the West Sydney Westars. Through its history, the club has crossed many milestones, but none as big as being the first team to win three successive NBL championships. The team schedules its home fixtures at the Qudos Bank Arena and boasts of alumni like Matthew Nielsen, Mark Dalton and Jason Smith who are inducted into the team’s Wall of Legends.
