Man In a Case is a stage production adapted from two short stories, Man In a Case and About Love, by Russian author Anton Chekhow. Driven by despair and surprising humor, the play begins with a pair of hunters who share stories late into the night. Though their two tales seem to be unrelated, each is centered on a familiar theme: the power of fear to cripple man in his pursuit of life's greatest possibilities. Combining found footage, dance and music, Man In a Case is a multi-media production that presents the often tragic notion of unrequited love in a lighthearted manner, offering an accessible glimpse into intricate human emotions.
