The Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company is a performance art ensemble based out of Israel that specializes in traditional Middle Eastern forms of dance. Founded in 1970 and led by artistic director Rami Be'er, the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company has managed to grow into one of the leading Israeli-based dance companies. Oftentimes blending modern forms of interpretative dance with more traditional styles, Kibbutz has blazed its own trail and helped innovate a unique style of dance that's on the cutting edge of world culture.
