Kurt Nilsen is a Norwegian country singer/songwriter who won the first season of the popular Norwegian reality television program Pop Idol in 2003. Shortly after winning Idol, Nilsen released his debut album, I, in 2003 and the LP quickly shot to the number one sport of the Norwegian album charts. Since then Nilsen has maintained a fairly prolific album release schedule in addition to up keeping a busying touring regime.
