Desert is an electronic/ indie pop duo based in Barcelona, Spain. Their ethereal tunes have been compared to the dream pop of Cocteau Twins as well as to the cerebral futuristic creations of Laurel Halo and Oneohtrix Point Never. Vocalist Cristina Checa sings in Catalan. Desert's first single, Camins, was released in January 2013.
