Cinco Doce is an Austin-based collective whose mission is to promote the infectious rhythms of cumbia, a genre popular throughout South America. Members of the band come from a variety of backgrounds, from Conjunto to contemporary R&B. The sound of Cinco Doce has been described as "Tejano Urban Cumbia."
