About
Austin, Texas-based band Boyfrindz plays raucous noise rock with math rock influences and prominent melodies. The band was founded in 2010. Boyfrndz's career got a boost at the 2011 SXSW festival, where they met Ikey Owens, former keyboard player of Mars Volta. Owens ended up performing with the band and producing some of their music.
