Pattern is Movement is an indie rock group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that was founded in 2001. The group started off as a quintet that pursued a neo-classical, math rock sound, however Pattern is Movement has since scaled back to a duo that crafts more melodic, chamber pop compositions. Though such a stark stylistic change, might drastically alter the group's sonic DNA in a negative way, Pattern is Movement has managed to arrive at a mature sound that's well suited for today's post-modern music age.
