Valerie Teicher, who performs and releases music as Tei Shi, is a New York City-based singer/songwriter who blends together elements of alternative pop, electronica and soul to create a unique style of music that's well suited for today's multifaceted modern music scene. Initially gaining attention on the indie music festivals CMJ and SXSW after releasing a string of her first singles in 2013, Teicher has continued to draw positive notoriety for her live performances and her well received 2017 debut album, Crawl Space.
