Regretters

About

Regretters is a play by young Swedish playwright Marcus Lindeen. It is based on the meeting of two individuals, Orlando and Mikael, who underwent sex reassignment surgery, but then decided to become males again. The play, which later took the form of a documentary film about Orlando and Mikael, asks difficult and profound questions, such as: Is the two-gender framework adequate to encompass the whole variety of human identities, and is it valid for the future of humankind?
