Dub8 is a band from Pico Riveria, California that seamlessly blends elements of ska, reggae and cumbia together to create an extremely rhythmic and danceable style of music. Founded in 2004, the group's humble formulative years found the band playing low profile shows, oftentimes at house parties or open mics around the Los Angeles area. Dub8 released its debut album, ReggaeSolSka, in 2011 and the LP helped establish the band as one of the more energetic and talented acts on the Southern Californian reggae fusion scene.
