When it started in 2008, this San Diego band had three members - Evan Hawkins, Taylor Boatwright and Brady O'Rear. Now expanded to five members, Through The Roots is a reggae and rock group with a bit of electronic music thrown in. Its debut EP, Here to Stay, was among the top two on the iTunes Reggae Chart of 2011. Primarily a touring band, it is a hit among music enthusiasts. Fans describe their catchy and smooth tunes refreshing.
