Dancing with the Stars is a televised dance competition that first premiered on ABC in 2005, during the height of reality television explosion. The show pairs professional dancers with a celebrity partner, and together the two perform choreographed dance routines and compete for points from the judges as well as votes from the audiences. A pair is eliminated each week until a winner is chosen. Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.
