Yumi Matsutoya

Matsutoya Yumi, formerly Yumi Arai, is one of the most famous musicians in Japan. She was born in January 19th, 1954. Some of her songs are used as theme music in the popular Studio Ghiburi films. Some of her most successful songs are "Haruyo-koi", "Yasashisani Tsutsumaretanara", and "Sotsugyo-Syashin." Her current single entitled "Hikoki-gumo" is used in the new Studio Ghiburi's film,"Kazetachinu."
