Russell Brand is a stand-up comedian and actor from England who rose to fame with his explicit, biting brand of humor during the mid-2000s. After garnering a controversial reputation on the stand-up circuit, he came to mainstream attention as the host of Big Brother's Big Mouth, in the UK and eventually on the world stage for his role as rock and roll caricature Aldous Snow in 2008's Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a character he reprised for 2010's Get Him to the Greek.
