Maia Hirasawa is a Swedish folk singer/songwriter who rose to prominence in 2007 with her hit song "And I Found This Boy." With a style that blends sparse acoustic guitar playing with her emotively characteristic voice, Hirasawa first began her career as a backup singer in various bands before striking out on her own.  Since becoming a fairly recognizable figure of the Swedish music scene in 2007, Hirasawa has gone on to maintain relevancy with a busy recording and touring schedule.
