SG Wanna Be made a sensational debut in 2004 with the first album SG Wanna Be+. Originally debuted as a faceless artist, the group jumped to stardom due to their first great hit "Timeless" and its music video. The group's name implies that they want to be loved by fans for long time like Simon & Garfunkel. As their hope, the group made many hits such as "As I Live," "Crime and Punishment," "Miss You," "Lalala" and "My Dear." When a former group member Dongha Chae committed suicide in 2011, Korean society was in deep sorrow and mourned R&B star's death. After the funeral, SG Wanna Be stopped official affairs temporarily and two members Yongjoon Kim and Seokhun Lee enlisted in the army.
