About
Swirlies is an indie rock band that emerged out of Boston, Massachusetts in 1990. Combining lo-fi, shoegaze and dream pop flavors, the bands released its debut album Blonder Tongue Audio Baton, in 1993, and quickly developed a reputation for its ability to switch between slow, hushed moments and its impenetrable wall of sound. Enduring the constantly shifting rock and roll landscape, Swirlies released its eighth studio album, Swirlies' Magic Strop: Gavin's March To The Sea, in 2009.
