Sven-Bertil Taube is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Stockholm, Sweden who developed a strong interest in folklore and folk music at a young age, planting the seeds for a career as a Scandinavian folk musician. Taube released his first album in 1954 and the album helped establish him as one of the preeminent Swedish folk musicians of his generation. Having continued on with a busy touring and recording schedule over his decades long career, Taube is looked at as somewhat of an elder statesman of the Swedish music community.
