About
New York City-based band Drowners is an indie pop outfit that was formed in early 2012. The band first offered its Britpop-influenced tunes on its Between Us Girls EP, making its way into the hearts of indie garage rock audiences with Strokes-esque guitar riffs and narratives of teenage suburban life. Drowners signed with New York label Frenchkiss Records and dropped its debut album in 2013.
