NK is an electronic music group from Long Island, New York that was formed in 2010 under the name North Korea. The band first captured its downtempo, lounge sound on its 2011 debut album Basement Tapes vol. 2, followed by 2012's Basement Tapes vol. 2, before officially abbreviating its name to NK. The three-piece outfit released its first record under its new name, Nothing To Be Gained Here, in 2013.
