Jesse Ruins is an experimental shoegaze outfit that began as the solo endeavor of Tokyo-based singer/songwriter Nobuyuki Sakuma in 2010. After releasing a cassette and contributing to a compilation album as a one-man band, the project slowly expanded into a three-piece band with the addition of Nah and eventually drummer Yosuke Tsuchida. Jesse Ruins released its debut EP Dream Analysis, with Captured Track Records in 2012, followed by its first full-length studio album, A Film, in 2013.
