Rolf Wikstrom is a Swedish blues singer/songwriter and guitarist who fell in love with the blues in 1961, after seeing a TV program with the legendary American bluesman Champion Jack Dupreee. After borrowing an old guitar from a relative, Wikstrom then began to play and practice along to songs on the radio. After becoming somewhat proficient on the instrument, Wikstrom's was hard up to find, after a repairman came to his house, that the guitar was painfully out of tune and he had learned the instrument whilst it was severely out of key. Begrudgingly learning how to play the guitar all over again, Wikstrom eventually gained prominence in the Swedish blues community and eventually released his debut solo LP, Swedish People Sing, in 1975.
