Pinegrove is a indie rock band from Montclair, New Jersey that was formed by long-time friends Zack Levine and Evan Hall. The band's polyrhythmic tunes often take on experimental, alternative and roots rock qualities, sounding both introspective and raucous at the same time. Pinegrove released its first single, "V" in 2013, followed shortly by its debut EP.
