Detroit Swindle is a production duo based in Amsterdam that's comprised of Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets. Founded in 2011, the group makes an extremely dance-friendly style of music that blends thumpy house rhythms with throwback disco instrumentals to create a unique and uncompromising sonic amalgam. The duo released its debut album, Boxed Out, in 2014 and since then Detroit Swindle has become somewhat of a mainstay on the European club circuit.
