Audiovisual artist and computer music composer Robert Henke pushes the limits of digital music with his dark ambient soundscapes. Born in Munich and based in Berlin, he uses his engineering background and fascination with the aesthetics of technology to create his own instruments and music algorithms. With computer-generated images and sound layered with photography, field recordings and light, he crafts multi-sensory art that is, at once, strikingly beautiful, innovative and mathematical.
