Yolke is a psychedelic rock band from Victoria, Australia that was formed in 2008. The band dropped its debut EP Poppy Wash, in 2010, exposing its ambient, shoegazey brand of post rock to a national audience. By the time it dropped its follow-up record, Syrup in 2013, the band had reached broad audiences throughout western countries, finding particularly enthusiastic niches in cities including San Francisco and Austin, Texas where psychedelic music thrives.
