Valente

Valente is a singer/songwriter and composer from Rome who creates an experimental brand of electronic indie rock. Influenced by his American jazz vocalist mother and Italian opera director father as well as his older sister's post punk vinyl collection, he relocated to Los Angeles to study music and slowly began to upload songs onto his Myspace page. His compositions quickly garnered a response from producers as well as fellow artists, who encouraged him to collaborate with like minded songwriters and release a proper record. Valente dropped his debut Alexandria EP in 2012, followed by his first full-length effort Music for Rooftops, 2013.
