About
Life Coach is the project of producer and Trans Am guitarist Phil Manley and drummer John Theodore of The Mars Volta and Queens of the Stone Age. After Manley released his debut solo album Life Coach, in 2011, painted with his signature modern krautrock sound, he recruited longtime friend and former band-mate Theodore to be an official member of his new band. The two artists make up the core nucleus of Life Coach, and first captured their band's experimental, layered but balanced sound on the 2013 album, Alphawaves.
