British born singer/songwriter Holly Golightly (yes that is her real name--her mother really liked Breakfast at Tiffany's!) is a highly procreative musician since she first discovered her vocal talent when her boyfriend at the time, drummer for Thee Headcoats asked her to sing with the band during a jam session. After that, Golightly performed with Thee Headcoats as a regular member until the band broke up in 2000, causing her to begin a solo career. Golightly has collaborated with multiple notable musicians including The White Stripes, but her most popular collaboration with Dave Lawyer led to the formation of the duo Holly Golightly & the Brokeoffs. The duo has released three albums and toured the country extensively winning over crowds with its raucous and soulful garage-americana.
