A Sunny Day in Glasgow is a Philadelphia-based band fronted by Ben Daniels that was formed in 2006 - since then, the group has coped with continuous lineup changes, the only constant member being Daniels. Creating lush dreampop with shoegaze swirls and prominent female vocals, A Sunny Day in Glasgow immediately grabbed the attention of the blogosphere and has only grown in popularity since. Though the group maintains a strong pop sensibility, it steers off into waves of ambient drones enough to keep its music interesting and its listeners on their feet.
