Il Resto del Carlitos is an Italian band that was formed by longtime musicians in 1999, who sought to recapture some of the musical expression they let go of when they were playing in bands in the 1960s. Playing a distinguished style of psychedelic rock n' roll, Il Resto del Carlitos also interjects elements of classical Italian music to provide a localized touch. Though the members of the group might be considered old (by some standards), the collective musicianship that has been collected by the long decades these musicians have spent playing is nothing to scoff at.
