South Korean boy group, TVXQ!, debuted with its first EP Hug in 2004. TVXQ(東方神起, 동방신기) stands for Tong Vfang Xien Qi which means the rising god of the east in Chinese. Initially, the group debuted as a cappella group because members admired a famous cappella group The Real Group. Since then, its musical style has shifted focused to dance pop with great hits such as "Balloon," "Rising Sun" and "Mirotic." In 2010, three members: Jaejoong(재중), Yoocheon(유천) and Joonsoo(준수) left the group because of conflicts with their label SM Entertainment. As a result, the rest of members, Yoonho(윤호) and Changmin(창민), continued as a duo. Despite of the fact that former TVXQ! split up into two separate groups,TVXQ! and JYJ, both groups still play key roles of  the increase in the popularity of South Korean entertainment and culture in Asia.
