Kazushi Ono

Kazushi Ono is a Japanese conductor who has built a reputation for himself as one of the premier classical conductors of his generation. Getting trained at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Ono distinguished himself with an innovative approach and methodical understanding of tonalities and scales. Ono was the principal conductor of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra from 1992 to 1999, where he managed to bring the organization to national prominence and international recognition.
