Guckkasten

Guckkasten(국카스텐) is a South Korean indie rock band from Kang-won province formed in 2007. The band was active in Hongdae district of Seoul under the name The C.O.M. but it disbanded because of members' military service. In 2007, the band was regrouped as Guckkasten and released its first single Guckkasten. Guckkasten gained nationwide attention as a very promising band, attaining final top 4 on the singing competition TV show "I am a singer season 2" in 2012.  Its name, Guckkasten means Chinese kaleidoscope in German, as the name suggests, they primarily use psychedelic rock sounds on songs such as "Red field" and "Manicure".
