About
Founded as Gaudeamus Chamber Choir by Marko Tiran in 1983, Perpetuum Jazzile is a choir based in Slovenia that is known for its a cappella renditions of jazz and pop standards. Inspired by a variety of styles from bossa nova to funk, the ensemble often recruits instrumentalists from the RTV Slovenia Big Band as well as Slovenian pop stars to join its performances. Perpettum Jazzile has released a number of albums, starting with 2000's Ko boš prišla na Bled, and including the live album/DVD Perpetuum Jazzile Live, from 2009.
