Yasoda Thakore

Yasoda Thakore is a popular Kuchipudi and Vilasini Natyam dancer in India. Her dance training began at the Kuchipudi Art Academy in Hyderabad, and for fourteen years this danseuse horned her skills to win the hearts of national and international audience. She is also well-versed in Vilasini Natyam; a dance form originating from Andhra Pradesh (South India) that is only performed by females. Her extensive research on yoga and its co-relation with Indian classical dance gained her a doctorate degree. She has achieved several awards for dance as well as the Women Achiever Award, an honor given by the Guild of Women Achievers, Bangalore.
