Cheatahs is a garage rock band that was formed by front man and Alberta, Canada native Nathan Hewitt and British guitarist James Wignall. With the additions of San Diego-born bassist Dean Reid and German drummer Marc Raue, the international, London-based band honed in on a punk and shoegaze-inspired brand of indie rock and released it debut EP, Coared, in 2012. After earning a contract with Wichita Recordings, Cheatahs dropped its eponymous debut album with the imprint in 2014.
