Mime is a renowned performing art worldwide but in India it still remains a rare and an untapped art. Since 1987, Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory has been exploring the world of mime and acquainting the nation with this unique style. A one-of-its-kind mime group in the state of Manipur (Northeast India), they have performed several times in India's National Mime Festival and have entertained a global audience in South Korea, Greece and other international forums. Workshops and classes are conducted at their Manipur center for enthusiastic learners of all age groups.
