Marco Angius is an Italian conductor who has become one of the more well known figures of the modern European classical music scene since releasing a string of impressive orchestrations throughout the 2000s. While his respect for the old world symphonic masters is undeniable, Angius's distinctively modern approach to composition has brought him notoriety from well respected music critics. A conductor laureate of sorts for Italy, Angius's ability to encapsulate feelings and raw emotions within a symphony is nearly unmatched my any other current European composer.
