Eli Meltzer is a hip-hop artist from Sebastopol, California who performs and releases music under his Smoove-E moniker. Growing up, Meltzer had a strong connection with music, listening to his parents classic rock records and also delving into the Bay Area underground hip-hop movement. By the time Meltzer started attending high school he was honing his production and beat making skills on an MPC his mother had bought for him. Shortly after graduating, Meltzer immersed himself in the Bay Area music scene, recording and releasing his impressive, eponymously-titled debut album in 2001.
