Kobukuro is a Japanese j-pop duo featuring Kentaro Kobuchi and Shunsuke Kuroda. When Kobukuro was formed in 1998, the duo was just street musicians performing in Osaka. After that Kobukuro debuted with its first single "YELL/Bell" in 2001, and then the duo became very popular after the duo’s twelfth single “Sakura (Cherry blossom)” was sold very well in 2005. While Kobukuro launches nation-wide tours, the duo still sometimes performs street lives for remembering its roots as street musicians.
