Mr. Children is a Japanese pop band featuring vocalist Sakurai, guitarist Tahara, bassist Nakagawa and drummer Suzuki. Formed in 1992, the band gained fame after the release of its fourth single “CROSS ROAD” in 1993. Eventually, Mr. Children acquired an increasing number of fans and soon became one of the most popular rock bands in Japan. It was responsible for creating a great sensation in the Japanese music scene, which was called the Misuchiru Phenomenon. Mr. Children’s songs are characterized by its philosophical lyrics and comfortable melodies which linger in the listener’s ears.
