POLYSICS is a Japanese techno rock band composed of vocalist and guitarist Hayashi, bassist Fumi and drummer Yano. POLYSICS is characterized by its techno pop and new wave music style and its nonsensical lyrics that often include English gibberish, similar to the US techno band DEVO. POLYSICS has performed in many rock festivals in Japan since it made its debut in 1999. In 2003 the band released its third album NEU in the US and its nation-wide tour turned out to be a great success.
