Brooklyn-based band The Defibulators is an alternative country outfit that uses elements of bluegrass, rockabilly and punk to craft a rowdy, rootsy sound. The band dropped its self-titled debut studio album in 2006 and has since been changing the face of country music from its honky-tonk image into a broader, inclusive and modern genre.
