About
Based in Verona, Italy Upon This Dawning is a post hardcore band that creates a mix of melodic metal and screamo. The band earned a quick following around its hometown and eventually around the country following the 2007 release of its debut EP, Count the Second Until Your Last Breath. Upon This Dawning dropped its first full-length effort To Keep Us Safe, in 2012, and was set to embark on a tour of the US before a car accident forced the band to cancel all remaining dates.
