Based in Portland The Bear & The Sea is the one-man project of Damon Sheeley, who channels his Pacific Northwest earthiness through electronic music. His fusion of dark ambient and downtempo makes for woozy, often muddy but always visceral sounds that were first captured on his album Trees Like You, in 2013.
