About
Born to a Lucknow family of musicians, Arjun Mishra chose art, but in the form of dance, as his mission in life. Pandit Birju Maharaj, the icon of Kathak, trained this talented artist, who later became one of the finest Kathak dancers of India. Arjun Mishra can be seen performing live at various cultural shows worldwide. His son, Anuj Mishra, too is a popular Kathak dancer. The father-son duo promotes the dance form by teaching enthusiastic students at their Kathak Academy in Lucknow.
