Hocico

About

Hocico is an electro-industrial band from Mexico that was founded in 1993 by cousins Oscar Mayorga and Erik Garcia. Though the two musicians had been pursuing various abstract genres in the electronic genre, when they came together to make music, with Garcia on vocal duities and Mayorga on instrumental programming, they found themselves making a forward-thinking style of industrial-influenced electro. Releasing its debut album, Odio Bajo El Alma, in 1997, Hocico has managed to spend a good amount of its time on the road, playing concerts, in addition to spending time in the studio, recording interesting and genre blending listening material.
